Strategic use of interior windows and floor openings allow the light to fill the home and give sightlines between floor levels. Exposed structural wood decking and Douglas fir beam work are natural, beautiful and durable materials that complement the interior brick walls and arches.
Chagrin Falls boasts several eras of historic architectural home styles, including early-20th century bungalows. The challenge was to make a new home that related well to that historic context, in its form and profile–and we think the home blends seamlessly on its street.
